INHERITANCE AND ADOPTEES

I'm hearing more about the rights of adoptees with regard to "biological inheritance". Money.

I firmly believe that adoptees are NOT motivated by a potential windfall. How would one even know the financial circumstances of a relative until they reach out and make contact? Unfortunately, this misconception has continued to create some messy and uncomfortable first conversations. Not surprising as identity and internet fraud are common.

When a biological parent or sibling receives "that" call or email, consider they have simple wants and needs. Or just want a confirmation and nothing more. You will know pretty quickly if something is off.
